This Return and Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted for purchases made through our e-commerce platform, CameraScan.org. By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns only under the following conditions:
1.1 Product Condition for Return
A product is eligible for return if:
It is damaged or defective upon delivery.
The item received is incorrect (wrong product, wrong model, wrong variant).
There are missing parts or accessories in the package.
The product is not functioning as intended due to a manufacturing defect.
Note:
The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and with all accessories, manuals, and warranty cards intact.
Any tampering with the product, missing accessories, or visible signs of usage may result in rejection of the return request.
1.2 Return Request Timeframe
You must initiate a return request within 48 hours of delivery by contacting our customer support at camerascan@gmail.com or calling +91 9188526787.
Once your return request is approved, the product must be shipped back to us within 7 days.
2. Non-Returnable Products
Certain items cannot be returned unless they are found to be defective or damaged upon delivery. These include:
❌ Memory cards, batteries, chargers, and cables (due to hygiene and safety reasons).
❌ Customized or special-order products.
❌ Software, digital downloads, and subscription-based services.
❌ Used or second-hand cameras and accessories.
❌ Items without original packaging or missing accessories.
Note: If a product is ineligible for return, we will notify you via email upon review of your return request.
3. Return Process
3.1 How to Initiate a Return
To return a product, follow these steps:
Contact Us: Email us at camerascan@gmail.com or call +91 9188526787 with your order details and reason for return.
Verification: Our team will review your request and may request images/videos of the product to verify the claim.
Approval & Pickup: If the return is approved:
We will arrange a pickup from your location (if applicable).
Alternatively, you may be required to ship the product to our nearest branch at your own expense.
Inspection: Once received, our team will inspect the product.
Approval or Rejection: We will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return request within 7 business days.
4. Refund Policy
Once your return is approved, the refund will be processed based on the original payment method.
4.1 Refund Timeframe
Prepaid Orders: Refunds for payments made via Razorpay, UPI, debit/credit cards, or net banking will be credited to the original payment source within 7-10 business days.
Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Refunds will be processed via bank transfer. You must provide your bank account details to initiate the refund.
Store Credit Option: Alternatively, customers can opt for store credit for future purchases on CameraScan.org.
Note: Refund timelines may vary based on bank processing times.
4.2 Partial Refunds
If a returned product is used, damaged, or missing accessories, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion.
In cases where only a part of the product package is returned, a partial refund will be processed accordingly.
5. Order Cancellations
5.1 Cancellation by Customer
Orders can be canceled before they are shipped by contacting our customer support.
If an order is canceled after shipment, return policies will apply.
5.2 Cancellation by CameraScan
We reserve the right to cancel an order due to:
Stock unavailability.
Pricing errors or incorrect product descriptions.
Fraudulent or suspicious transactions.
In such cases, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
6. Exchanges
Exchanges are allowed only for damaged, defective, or incorrect products received.
The replacement product will be shipped only after the returned item is received and inspected.
7. Shipping for Returns
Self-Shipment: Customers may be required to send the product to the nearest CameraScan branch if a pickup service is not available in their location.
Return Shipping Charges: If the return is due to our error (wrong product, defective item), we will bear the shipping costs. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for return shipping charges.
