PAYMENT POLICY

This Payment Policy governs the terms and conditions related to payments made on CameraScan Kottayam's e-commerce website. By making a purchase on our platform, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the following payment terms.

CameraScan Kottayam is committed to providing a seamless and secure payment experience for all customers. We offer multiple payment options to cater to diverse customer preferences while ensuring the highest levels of security and compliance with applicable regulations.

1. PAYMENT METHODS

CameraScan provides the following payment options for the convenience of our customers:

A. Online Payments (Prepaid Orders)

For a faster, seamless checkout experience, customers can choose prepaid payment options. All online payments are securely processed through Razorpay, a trusted third-party payment gateway that complies with the highest security standards, including PCI DSS compliance.

Accepted payment modes include:

Credit Cards – Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Rupay

Debit Cards – Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, and Rupay

UPI Payments – Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM UPI, and other UPI-supported apps

Net Banking – Available for all major banks across India

Digital Wallets – Paytm, Amazon Pay, Mobikwik, Freecharge, etc.

EMI Options – Available on select credit cards, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective bank and Razorpay

Upon successful completion of an online transaction, customers will receive a confirmation email and/or SMS with details of their order and payment status.

B. Cash on Delivery (COD) Payments

For customers who prefer to make payments upon receiving their orders, we offer Cash on Delivery (COD) as a payment option. COD is available only for select locations within Kerala and is subject to the following conditions:

Customers must pay the full order amount in cash to the delivery partner at the time of receiving the product.

COD orders are subject to verification through phone or SMS before dispatch. CameraScan reserves the right to cancel COD orders if the verification process is unsuccessful.

Additional handling charges may apply for COD orders, depending on the shipping location.

Partial payments or payments through digital modes (UPI, card, or wallets) will not be accepted for COD orders.

C. Store Pickup Payments

Customers may choose to pick up their orders directly from one of our store locations in Kerala. Payments for store pickups can be made through the following methods:

Cash Payments – Customers can pay in cash upon collection.

UPI Payments – Payments can be made via Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM UPI, etc. by scanning the store’s QR code.

Bank Transfer – Direct bank transfers can be made at the store via account details or QR code provided at the payment counter.

Orders placed for store pickup must be collected within 7 days of order confirmation. Failure to collect an order within this timeframe may result in order cancellation.

2. PAYMENT PROCESSING & ORDER CONFIRMATION

Online Payments – Orders paid using online methods are automatically processed once the payment is successfully received. The system will generate an order confirmation and send it to the registered email and phone number.

COD Orders – COD orders are processed only after successful verification through phone or SMS confirmation. Failure to confirm may lead to order cancellation.

Store Pickup Orders – Customers opting for store pickup must wait for a confirmation notification before visiting the store to collect their order.

In case of any delays due to unforeseen circumstances (such as payment failures, banking issues, or verification delays), CameraScan will notify the customer via email or phone.

3. TRANSACTION SECURITY & FRAUD PREVENTION

At CameraScan, we take the security of customer transactions seriously. All online payments are encrypted and processed through Razorpay, which follows industry-standard security measures, including:

PCI DSS Compliance – Ensures that cardholder information is securely handled.

3D Secure Authentication – Extra layer of protection for credit and debit card transactions.

Fraud Detection Mechanisms – Monitors suspicious or unusual payment activities to prevent fraud.

Customer Responsibilities for Secure Payments:

Customers must use their own credit/debit cards or digital payment accounts when making payments.

CameraScan will never ask for OTPs, passwords, or payment details via phone, email, or social media. If you receive any suspicious request, report it immediately to camerascan@gmail.com.

Customers should ensure that their billing details are accurate and match their registered bank details to prevent payment failures.

CameraScan reserves the right to block, suspend, or cancel orders if fraudulent activity or unauthorized transactions are suspected. Legal action may be taken against individuals involved in fraudulent transactions.

4. INTERNATIONAL PAYMENTS

At present, CameraScan does not support international payments or cross-border transactions. All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) through the payment modes listed above. Any attempt to process payments through international cards may result in transaction failure.

5. CHANGES TO PAYMENT POLICY

CameraScan reserves the right to modify, update, or amend this Payment Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of the website will be considered as acceptance of the updated policy.
